I recently installed a BYRON DBY-223548S wireless Doorbell (CR2032 button battery) with two "chimers", one is mains powered, the other is powered by 3 AA batteries.

I have one installed in the house, it doesn't matter which one, both work fine, I have the other installed in a outhouse ~ 20M from the front door with 5 "walls" betweem them, the battery chimer works fine but the mains power one doesn't work in this outhouse, I have paired them as per the instructions but still no joy. The frequency band is 433MHz with a 150M range.

Is there any eason why both (or none) shouldn't work in this outhouse?.

EDIT: Just looks like the battery one is able to pick up the signal inside the outhouse, the mains one can pick it up just outside the outhouse window/wall, not a problem anyhow, as long as one does work (ring) inside the outhouse, I won't be knocking down any wall soon.

Have a look for the little antenna and see if it's a coil or wire. If so reroute it so that it's away from any batteries or chime elements.
