Is the Boards.ie Golf Society Still Active? + New Reddit Society If Not

Hey folks,

Just checking in — is the Boards.ie Golf Society still going? Haven’t seen much activity lately and was hoping to join up for 2026 if it’s still running.

If it’s no longer active (or if numbers are low), I’m putting together a Reddit Golf Society and we've already booked a full schedule for 2026 — all confirmed and priced:

• Powerscourt (East) – 4th Apr – €65
• St. Margaret’s – 2nd May – €55
• Luttrellstown – 6th Jun – €65
• Seapoint – 11th Jul – €70
• The K Club (Palmer South) – 25th Jul – €70
• Tulfarris – 23rd Aug – €50

All outings are for up to 40 golfers, and we’re keeping it simple:
€40 once-off joining fee — and 100% goes toward prizes (no admin cut).

Would be great to get a mix of Boards.ie and Reddit golfers together!

New Captain for the new year.The society always takes a break at this time of the year for obvious reasons.

Full schedule will be released by the society early in the new year as always i reckon.

Numbers definitely not low, great choice of courses, great committee and good sponsorship keeps prices reasonable.

Best of luck with your society, unlike the boards one the courses seem very Dublin centric, Boards one usually has nearly a 50 50 split.
