I don't know much about these things but I do know that ITV isn't carried on Saorview. Are you sure you aren't receiving the UK Freeview channels or using a satellite dish?

Hello. Definitely had itv. The box is a larger vsat02

That's a satellite receiver so it must need re-tuning possibly. Labgear™ VSAT02 HD Satellite Receiver. https://www.freetv.ie/satellite-receivers/

    Edit

    Yeah, it needs updating.

    "Drawback

    • Unlike freesat
      • It does not automatically update if their is a frequency change
      • or new channels becomes available"

Plenty on here might be able to guide you through it if they are going to charge you so ask here again if they are, I'm not familiar with them to give you a hand i'm afraid.

What is the make and model number of your television?

LG. Not sure of model no. Can't remember how old it is. But everything was good until approx a week ago

If it's a fairly recent model it might have a built in tuner to get satellite channels. My Lg is about 6 years old and has a tuner.

    Edit

I know AI is a scourge but it has it's place! The below is what it says for you to re-tune the box so if it's wrong others will point it out!

To re-tune your Labgear™ VSAT02 HD Satellite Receiver, you need to perform a satellite channel scan to update and include all available Free-to-Air channels:

    1. Turn on your receiver and TV, then press the MENU button on the remote to open the main menu.
    2. Use the arrow keys to highlight "Installation" or the equivalent satellite settings menu and press OK.
    3. In this menu, confirm the satellite is set correctly (e.g., Astra 2E/2F/2G for UK reception). Signal and quality percentages should ideally be 50% or more.
    4. Scroll down to "Start Search" or "Satellite Search" and press OK.
    5. Choose the "Blind Scan" option to let the receiver automatically scan all frequencies for available channels.
    6. Once scanning finishes, press OK to exit, and your TV will display the first channel in the updated channel list.

This process ensures your receiver searches for all new or changed channels on the satellite and updates its channel list accordingly. If needed, you can adjust other settings like favorite channels or parental locks after scanning.

The Labgear VSAT02 supports DVB-S2, has a blind scan function, and can store up to 4000 channels, making it flexible for HD Free-to-Air satellite TV reception.
