    Hi everyone,
I’m a primary teacher currently working in the UK, and I’m hoping to move to Ireland — but I’m finding the process really confusing!

Has anyone here (or anyone you know) successfully become a teacher in Ireland after training in England? I’d love to know what route you took — especially if it was Route 1 with the Teaching Council.

I’m also trying to figure out what level of Irish is actually required for primary teachers, and whether there’s any way to work in a school without meeting that level — like in learning support, reading recovery, or similar roles.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
