I am looking for a pull through delimber. Hire buy, borrow, I do not mind,

I've 650 tons of spruce on the ground (storm) and since every harvester is busy thought I might have a go myself with chainsaw, measuring tape, winch, timber trailer and crane.

Anybody got any information on where I might find one? I understand they were used in the UK in the 70's and 80's.

    Help please

    tim

    Hi Tim,

Very few of these in Ireland. I have a patu lf40. As my son would say, it is built different ( to the crap made today !). I have lots of work for mine. They are a solid yoke. Cutting length is restricted to metre increments tho. Best mounted on a timber trailer with big tractor 😁
