    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone on here uses paid subcriptions to help with decision making in relation to stock picking, portfolio analysis and general financial management. I know this is a very broad area.

I am thinking about subscriptions to services like Investors Chronicle, CNBC Pro and Investing Club, Seeking Alpha, MyWallst's Horizon or Prophet, Motley Fool's Stock Advisor etc.

Have you used any of the above and if you have did you find them useful, informative, value for money?? Which would you recommend and which would you stay away from?? Are there others you would recommend instead??

Would be interested to hear your thoughts and opinions.

    Thanks.

Used to pay for MyWallSt when it was €60/year, but not they have only got "premium services" for €700/€800 a year which is far too much for my liking.

I think a lot of the above are targeting active stock pickers, where you buy and sell within a tax-efficient wrapper (US/UK). We don't really have that here, if I was to actively follow their guidance, I'd have a CGT bill every year eating into returns
