I've been using a 2 Zone EHP system (R27-RF) for a number of years. We only schedule the hot water and instead boost the heating system/rads as needed. I would like the ability to boost remotely so was looking at the GW01 which is around €156.

I've seen previous threads recommending Drayton and other options for full swap outs. From looking at Screwfix I can get a 2-channel Drayton kit for €125. I'm wondering if I'm as well to buy the Drayton given it's cheaper and should offer the same remote ability?

I've been using the Drayton for approx 8 years, never had a problem can do everything remotely from the app and can control the temp through Google home as well.

We have both GW01 and GW03 (different houses) for 3/4 years and have been very satisfied with both. We use them for precisely the purpose you outline i.e. remote boost.
