Tax Credit and DIRT

    My only income for 2024 was bank interest and as the gross amount exceeded €5000 I have to file a tax return. I suspect that it probably isnt but can anyone confirm for definite that my personal tax credit is not allowable against DIRT?

    To answer my own question I filed the return and my personal tax credit was allowable against DIRT.
