Was wondering how my VRT was calculate?

New EV bought in Feb 2025,

Value: €36,250.00

VAt 23%L €8337.59

VRT: €777.00?

Can anyone advise his they arrived at this? Thoguht it might/should be 0?

It's not zero because the OMSP was above 40k, it's 7% of OMSP with a tiered discount for cars with OMSP between 40-50k

What's the EV? Typically you will get a stat code and be able to see the exact calculation but if not typically if you know the exact make and model it can be retroactively calculated. Depending on the manufacturer it can be easier or harder as VRT is also charged on options.
