Accurizing a rifle, Pillar & Glass bedding Questions

I have a 300 win mag Howa 1500. I absolutely love it. I have it pillar bedded and free floated. About three 50 euro notes can go right down to the start of the barrel at the receiver. I get random flyers every group or every second group and after I would always blamed myself. I could usually put 2 in the same hole and the third could be 1.25 - 2.5 inches off them. After looking at many videos from GunBlue490 and many others (also googling for hours over the past while) they recommend 50 thousandths gap between the barrel and the stock. So last night I opened the gap to about 55 thousandths. Being a magnum cartridge it makes sense to me.

On the glass bedding side of things I then noticed people could "drop" their receivers into their glass bedded rifles with little effort. Last year I glass bedded mine with acraglass but it needs a good firm push in to mate properly. Should I be able to mate the rifle to the stock with ease or is a firm push together okay? I only have the recoil lug glass bedded and farther back on the receiver there is no contact between it and the stock only at the pillar bed for the rear tang screw. Should I have the rear tang of the rifle bedded too? I didn't do it because I only wanted the recoil to be absorbed by the recoil lug and have no recoil being taken by the rear tang. The flat surface around the pillar bed at the rear tang is glass bedded but only the part that mates to the bottom of the rear tang. I'm dyslexic and my writing is terrible sorry, also I'll get pictures up, it is an English Walnut stock.

    TLDR -

    1. Do I have to redo my glass bedding because of a firm mating between the rifle and stock?
    2. Is 50 thousandths gap for free floating enough for a 300 win mag?
    3. Is a pillar bed the only contact recommended for the rear tang or should that be glass bedded too snugly.

I went out to zero my new scope. I shot two 3 shot groups. First was up and left so i adjusted and second was very close to poa. Below I merged the 2 groups. 6 shots, 5 within an inch of each other and 1 within an inch and a half. I am very happy with this.

I don't think this is enough data to prove that the free floating to 50 thousandths has worked/improved accuracy but I am very happy with the rifle.

I still would like some input on Q1 and Q3 though, thanks.
