    Afternoon,

I am struggling to find somewhere to Store a car i am planning to buy.

I have talked to a local multistory car park and i can buy a year pass and its not bad value, place closes at 11 and open as 7am so would be more secure than my Driveway / street.

Has one one done this ? I understand no work can be carried out in the Carpark, but would be out of the elements and under CCTV etc.

    Thanks in advance.

Sorry to answer your question with another question, and no malice intended: What problem are you trying to solve?

Reason I ask it that if it's security I've found a car cover, of any type, keeps most folks away

Will it be safe from dings and dents from others using the car park?

The multi storey will certainly keep it out of the weather which is vital if you want to keep an old car in good nick.

Alternatively have you tried any of the storage places advertised on Done Deal ?

I used to park in an apartment block's underground carpark as it had lots of spare spaces. Would wait for a resident to open the gate to go in and out. A car cover as well would keep the dust and grime off it.

No issue and thanks for taking time to reply: I don't have a 3rd car space at my house for a weekend car, so want to get somewhere that is not out int he elements to store it.

i can put it at the highest level, it wont be 100% safe but better than out in elements i think.

and you did not live int he block? thanks that's handy, so if i am above board and paid for up in the multi story it would not be a bad solution. i can get a year pass for 700 euro, it closes at 11pm opens at 7am. other thing would be insurance, where is car kept at night might be an issue.
