Hi Everyone!

So Im looking for alot if information here. Thanks for anyonme that awners in advance.

Out of coincedence myself and 2 of my current collegues have applied for 3 different campaigns. Paramedic, Guarda and Prison officer.

I myself have applied for Student paramedic.

I suppose what we really want to understand are peoples own experiences of the recruitment process, for example where you came on a panel and if you got in?

I was a young mother and all I have is the leaving certificate (which isnt very good, just passes.) so I dont feel like i have much hope.

Does anyone have any advice if we get a far as interviews? how hard the fitness tests really are? Waiting times ?

My friend is currently booked for interview with the Recruit prison officer campaign and care 200 on the panel.

My friends will be looking here too for awnsers on their chosen paths.

Any information at all and we will be greatful.

Hi, depending on where you place on the panel it can be a long wait. I am on the panel from August 2024, I'm hoping by my panel placement that I will get in the next time around. Do not worry about the leaving cert. It doesn't matter how well you did once you done a science subject. Make sure you have a real copy of your leaving cert and not a provisional one. Do c1 lessons and work on that to get it out of the way. Im currently doing them.

Look Up career services I found it very useful when preparing for the first part of the assessments. Hope this helps.
