What is the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel for thermos cups?

Hello everyone,
Recently, when choosing a thermos, I noticed that different brands listed different stainless steel grades: some listed 304, others 316.

Interestingly, I saw a well-known, higher-priced thermos brand still using 304, while some less expensive brands listed 316.
So, I'm curious: for everyday use like drinking water or tea in a thermos, is there a significant difference between 304 and 316?

Is there anyone who knows more about these materials and could share some experiences?

316 is more resistant to corrosion. Never noticed a difference for tea but my soup would make the walls of the 304 much less lustrous than those of a 316.
