Timber floors

hi all

Recently put down osb and slabbed my attic.

The osb is fine but I’d like too put down timber laminate floors in the attic.

Area is 15 foot wide by 25 long.

Is this possible for a novice ??
I’ve never fitted flooring but handy enough with hands.

would you recommend cut with skill saw or jig saw ??
cuts on inside beside skirting boards?

I use a mitre saw, jigsaw, multi tool but depending what needs to be cut.

Make sure leave 5 or 10 mm gap around all walls to allow for expansion. The skirting should cover it after

Cut with a jigsaw as skirting will cover small mistakes, laminate is hard on skillsaw and mitre saw blades and will take the edge off them quickly
