For the next few months, I’d be throwing all my solar into the battery to ensure you’re not caught short of an evening. If we happen to get a glorious day and it looks like the battery will fill, you can always manually discharge for an hour.
You can schedule your evening discharge right up to 2am, when it’ll switch to charging.

Incorrect. I took €900 credit back from Energia this year. Quick phone call.

My Energia contract is almost up. Pinergy seems to be a very good option.

    Way to be selective.
If you’d read the other posts, you’d see that’s what I was told when I rang them myself before switching to Pinergy.
They’ve obviously changed their ways in the interim, but that was the case when I rang /posted.

Hello. I don't know much about Pinergy.

Is the same as switching to any other energy provider? No extra hardware needs to be installed?

Also I would be looking for similar to energia ev drive plan. Is there a high usage limit ?

Pinergy are the same as everyone else ie. no special hardware required. They are prepay though, so if you’re registering, make sure you select the smallest household available as you’ll have to pay circa. €300 per month for the first 3 months until they get a read on your usage. Don’t worry, you can withdraw some of that again afterwards.
They also have an EV tariff, which is nightly between 2am and 5am. Price is 5.5c per kWh in this window. They also purchase from you at 25c per kWh. And there are no limits bar your inverter capacity.

Same as any other supplier no special requirements..the only thing with this tariff its level pay do they average out your usage over the year. They do reevaluate it every few months based on your usage. But otherwise just a regular smart tarriff

Edit there is no usage limits.

It would be more "level pay" than "prepay"

Just so people are clear it's not a card/prepay meter etc.

No limit. You can buy as much as you want, the same fixed price of 5.99c / kWh applies (incl VAT)

I wish I had 3 phase or a much higher MIC than my 12kVA so I could buy more. The more you buy, the more profit you make
