Looking forward to this on Friday night. Bringing the daughter and her buddy. I knew a couple of songs from my daughter having it on in the car. I was listening to more of the tunes that she will be playing live, and some great stuff there.

My concern now is that I saw yesterday that it says strictly over 18s. The two girls are only 13, and will stand out a mile as being under 18. 3Arena have their age restrictions, but they don't really apply them. But I am fearful that if I turn up with the 2 of them, that we will be turned away. They will be devastated, and I will be out of pocket for €200. Anyone have any experience of anything similar? I would have thought that RAYE's target audience is teenagers. Does the fact that I am with them make it a little more likely to get in - rather than 2 teenagers going themselves without an adult. I know it's to restrict underage drinking etc.

My wife is also heading to this with my 13 year old daughter along with her friend and mam. I would highly suspect this just applies for unaccompanied kids.

It'd be great if you all got in, but I saw two teens (with a parent) turned away from Weezer in Trinity because it was specifically stated as Over 18s, despite the fact that they too would have a new generation of younger fans. The presence of a parent did not help their cause. If you look up, say, Reneé Rapp in the 3Arena, it's "Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult," which is not the same thing as Over 18s.

for niall horan last year they had clearly stated exemption for u18s on ticketmaster ie with guardian over 25.

Just on the 3 Arena, there is often a general rule that no under 14s to be in the standing area. And they don't enforce that. But in any case, you are right, That is a whole lot different than an outright over 18s gig. So, it seems that there is a good chance we could be refused. But I am going to chance it anyway. The girls are old enough to get over it. It can be a life lesson to them - can't always get what you want. And a lesson for me - not to be such an ejit again and read the small print before buying items 😏

The tickets say strictly over 18s. My husband also accidently bought a ticket for his 14 year old niece which I am now taking.

Up to you to chance it but you can't argue with them if they turn you away - it's on ticketmaster, the tickets, the emails etc.
