    Seeing as the DCI in charge said "Police suspect the case might be connected to a serious assault on a priest in St Patrick's Church" it's a distinct possibility.

    apparently the priest was asked to hear the confession of the lad who attacked him


    don’t think you need to be a Sherlock Holmesto figure this one out.

    Even if the sanctity of the confessional will prevent the priest from saying anything that was said under the act, Somehow I doubt the psni will have too much work cut out for them to figure it out.

    As n aside, this case is not in the Irish jurisdiction so shouldn’t be locked.
