    Hi all,

Would anyone have any recommendations for a child friendly hotel approximately an hour outside of Dublin, with weekend entertainment and a spa.

So far we’ve tried Amber Springs and Bloomfield Hotel. Both are really good, they allow kids to roam, there’s entertainment in the bar in the night. Both have Spa’s which are an added bonus.

I was going to suggest Amber Springs, but you have that one. There's Newpark in Kilkenny, a bit more than 60 minutes drive though, depending on where in Dublin you are.

we had a family get-together in druid's glen (albeit about ten years ago) and IIRC it was family friendly; my youngest nibling was about 18 months old at the time. dunno what the prices are like now though!

You’d make it in 60 with the wind at your back, Newpark is a good shout if kids are involved.

Have you considered the Pilo Hotel in Ashbourne?

I was at a wedding there in the last few years. It was a lovely hotel but I wouldn’t have ever thought of it as kid friendly. Thanks for the suggestion.

was in druids glen last week. Lovely hotel but not sure I’d class it as child friendly particularly really. No entertainment on Saturday night.

Killashee hotel in Naas might suit.

Pool with kids area, fantastic spa, music Friday and Saturdays, acres to roam about and child friendly.

National stud not far away for a day out that any child would love

The newpark in kilkenny would be the best if you travel a little further

Not sure what The Pilo has to offer?

Very late to fix this but actually there was entertainment on Saturday, not sure how this slipped me. Lad on a guitar was pretty good.

Would you travel to Center Parcs? Just over an hour from some parts of Dublin.

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the suggestion. It seems to be great but a little bit on the expensive side.
