Irish protest footage request for documentary

Hi all,

Looking for footage of Irish protests / counter culture movements / riots for a documentary feature.

Protests to do with Irish movements (this excludes Palestinian and Ukrainian protests) and must be owners of footage i.e. video you have taken yourself.

If anyone has any footage, the more visually engaging the better, it would be greatly appreciated if you could message me.

I don't have video, but some points:

"footage of Irish protests": protests in Ireland are a dime a dozen and are typically led by political or civic society groups on Saturday afternoons. They march peacefully and have a few speeches. The biggest issues are politicians wanting to be at the front and 'splitters'.

"counter culture movements": these aren't particularly common. Yes, there are some people who live in the woods and others that are pre-occupied with hemp-based products, but most protests are on social matters and riots in Ireland have been characterised as far-right, Republican, anti-police and/or class-based.

"riots": these are exceptionally rare. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dublin_riot It is only in recent years that counter-protests have become common and these have occasionally become violent when the far-right is involved.

There's a clue in the OP:

IOW no boring footage of middle-aged middle-class people protesting peacefully some planning issue.

It's more of a challenge to see if the program maker will list their own biases. 😉

So, do I take it you only want footage of the tiny minority of protests that became violent?
