The Lions have their own thread, but plenty of other Summer International rugby (or Incoming Tours if you prefer the southern hemisphere lingo) going on over the next few weeks. The main attraction being Les Bleus tour of New Zealand obviously, but there’s also a depleted England going to face Los Pumas, straight off their win against the Lions a few weeks ago. South Africa will be facing off against Italy, while Wales go to Japan, Scotland have games against Fiji and Samoa, and a Paul O’Connell coached Ireland team will play games against Portugal and Georgia.

    Week 1

    Friday (into Saturday)

1:00am South Korea v Hong Kong RPTV

4:35am Māori All Blacks v Scotland XV Sky Sports Action

    Saturday

6:00am Japan v Wales BBC One Wales

8:05am New Zealand v France Sky Sports Action

11:00am New South Wales v British and Irish Lions Sky Sports Action

4:10pm South Africa v Italy Sky Sports Action

6pm Georgia v Ireland VMTV One

    8pm Chile v Romania RPTV

8:40pm Argentina v England Sky Sports Action

12:30am United States v Belgium RPTV

4:30am (into Sunday) Australia v Fiji Sky Sports Action

Based on the teams named (we knew France would not bring their A team), NZ are most likely cricket score France. That NZ bench is crazy.

I love the collars on the french and the kiwi jerseys

Reece sparked out with a bad tackle within the first minute. McKenzie on, moves to Fullback, Jordan to wing.

    Wales beaten by the Japanese

    Good start from France.

Villiere, Guillard & Segonds looking good.

Jordie try ruled out for an earlier knock on after sweet dummy from Roigard.

France then hit back with great try

Try France from Guillard after a brilliant break by FB Attissogbe.

    0-10

    19'

    Big swing there

looks like the kiwis will hit back straight away because of that block down.

Wales were 19-7 up and lost 24-19.

    18 straight defeats

Block down in French 22, Jordan over in the right corner after 8 phases

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,504 ✭✭✭ironingbored

Vaa'i in for a try after footwork from McKenzie in the 22

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,056 ✭✭✭Brief_Lives

worrying stuff for the french scrum.

kiwis milking the penalties, before that last try.

Jordie Barrett gets his try out wide.

NZ kicking to the corner instead of taking the points.

    HT 21-13

Will really miss watching Jordie Barrett next season at Leinster. Involved in everything NZ do well.

That's a super try from France.

16 phases and Villiere goes over

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,056 ✭✭✭Brief_Lives

NZ get a lineout after the France turnover, go through the phases and Jordan goes over for his 40th NZ try.

Van Tonder with a great break through after a skip pass and Taofifenua goes over from close range on penalty advantage.

    28-27

France get out of jail again with a knock on in the act of scoring after Villiere yellow carded for a cynical slap down with a man outside.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,504 ✭✭✭ironingbored

Will Jordan in for his third.

    33-27

    64'

    Oh wait TMO check.

Chalked off for obstruction in the build up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,504 ✭✭✭ironingbored

You'd have to wonder what a full strength France would do here.

    France survive the YC period.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,504 ✭✭✭ironingbored

    Ioane very quiet at wing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,504 ✭✭✭ironingbored

    France have just ridiculous depth.

    Attissogbe has been brilliant.

They haven't won a match since group stages of world cup, is that correct ?

Not as if they're missing loads of Lions either. Only 2.
