Is this a full paint. Also have the same king of problem on the rear right wheel well.

I got this car in January and the dealer painted the damage, only noticed because it got its first wash since I got it

Depends on what standard you want. Some very light sanding and some touch up paint would do the job

I want it to look good

It would still look good IMO

Presumably not a new car OP? Did the dealer just use tipex on it?

Any remotely half decent repair job shouldn't be going like that after only 6 months.

As the issue was there when you bought it as they 'fixed' it, I'd be going back to them to ask them to fix it properly this time.

The below is a general 'signature' and not part of any post:

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.

Public transport user? If you're sick of phantom ghost services on the 'official' RTI sources, check bustimes.org for actual 'real' RTI, if it's on their map it actually exists.

OP you want it to look good and yet this was a first wash the car got since January? Sounds like you could not care less how the car looks. White car will show all the dirt in that area very quickly anyway so a careful touch up would be fine. How old is the car ?

    Nope not new new. It's a 171

It's a171. I have been out of the country for the last 4 months that is why I haven't washed it

    fair enough

but anyway a careful touch up would work here , you get road dirt quite visible on white very soon after a wash so it will mask any imperfections if there will be any.

Problem is most places will want a big respray job and charge for it accordingly. You need to treat the rust, prime and paint . So still they have to spend time and labour costs.
Maybe try a DIY and if failed find a body shop?

No garage would fix that for free for you know matter how persuasive you are. They can easily claim it was stones kicked up by tyre.

My brother's brought car for my 40th. I wouldn't have picked white.
