I'm looking myself at the moment. Was leaning towards the Titleist stadry, it's around the €280 mark. But sun mountain get great reviews, wondering should I go the extra €50 or so for one.

I've an Ogio waterproof one and love it, would definitely recommend them.

Is that the one that kind of holds the clubs in place without moving

I have the previous version without those things on it but yea, that's the one.

I have the Ogio. It doesn't have a proper step well for the electric trolley, so it wobbles a bit. Kinda takes the good out of the fixed club section at the top.

Also the putter well is at the back of the bag, it's a nightmare to get your putter in and out, especially if your putter has a thick grip- really awkward. Other than that a great bag, bit heavy, but I've just ordered a Titleist, I've had enough :)

I'd avoid Titleist stadry personally. Had a cart bag for two years, and it was ageing quite quickly. The colour was fading and two zipper straps snapped off not long after the 12 month warranty. The zips and waterproofing etc otherwise all were fine. I've seen the same colour fading on other Titleist bags, so it's not unique the model I had.

Have an Ogio cart bag that I like. The rain cover is awkward to fit but otherwise couldn't fault it. The colour patterns wouldn't be for everyone but I like them. Contrary to @Pixied my Ogio bag sits perfectly on my Powakaddy CT6. The slot is the correct shape and secure. However, it's worth double-checking as not all bags/brands/trolleys match up. Ogio prices seem to have jumped up over the last couple of years.

OP, if you can pop into one of the big golf retailers and put your hands on them. It's something you'll buy once and last a few years, so well worth the bit of due diligence.

I think I'll consider a bigger hybrid cart/stand bag in future to make it easier when travelling. The specs I look for in a cart bag are:

    • Cart strap/trolley loop or straps for added security.
    • Slot in the base for your trolley.
    • Velcro for attaching gloves and a strong separate accessories loop/attachment.
    • Dedicated space for a brolly.
    • 15 slots so you have space to accommodate alignment sticks/club trainer/ball retriever etc as needed.
    • Waterproof in all pockets/seams.
    • Bonus - cooler/lined pouch for food or drink. Dedicated putter slot.

I was just checking there and true enough, in the latest version of the bag Ogio have swapped the order of the slots at the top so the putter is at the back nearest your trolley, and they've removed the step at the bottom that helps to orientate the bag on your trolley.

These changes don't make any sense to me really, why would anyone want their putter at the back of their bag?

My biggest gripe with the Ogio bag is the head cover. It's nigh on impossible to fit mid round. Very complex and too "finikey" for my liking. Looking at getting a cheap elasticated quick fix when on course.

Love the bag otherwise. Mine has a groove for the trolley and doesn't move at all.

Think a lot of companies are US based and design a bag with an actual motorised buggy in mind as opposed to a push/electric trolley

I’m considering a new waterproof cart bag also, I’m leaning towards one of the Motocaddy Dry Series as I have a Motocaddy cart.

Anyone have an opinion or experience with one of these bags?

I have one, excellent bag. I have it over 4 years now and no wear and tear. Zips and pockets still like new.

Excellent bag, easi fix system with the morocaddy trolleys is great too for the base.
