Recommend holiday for large family in May

    Kids have a week off school in May next year so looking at options. Looking to try and meet some of the below.

    • kids are aged between 2 and 10 (5 kids so accommodation choices are limited). Hard to keep different ages happy!
    • flight time less than 3 hours so rules out Canaries
    • normally do beach and pool holidays but early May probably won't be warm enough in Europe. Any campsites or somewhere else with heated pools?
    • Open to Centre parc type places or would consider anything really.

    We brought 6 kids ( not all our own!) to Lake Garda in late May one year. A Eurocamp site called Bella Italia that time but we went to Camping Del Garda another couple of times. The weather was lovely. We flew into Verona one time but Milan the other times. Verona is about 25 miles from the campsite as far as I remember. There's lots to do onsite and Gardaland is a great local theme park.

    I think we were in the area at least 5 times over the years so I'd really recommend it.
