Mount \ Ring Height For Bergara B14 HMR in .308

    Hi lads,

    Im in the process of getting a Bergara B14 HMR and it has a picatinny rail on it.

    As can be seen from the pic below (not my actual rifle) it has an adjustable cheek rest.

    What mount \ ring height do you lads think would be best for this type of rifle, taking into account the adjustable cheek rest ?

    I like the look of the "all the one unit" type of mounts \ rings more than the usual 2 separate mounts but either will do.

    I'll be using a Bushnell Elite 3200 5 - 15 X 50 scope. (1 inch tube)

    Any suggestions much appreciated.

    I generally prefer higher rings, more comfortable. I struggled to get details however chatgpt tells me that scope has 40 moa of adjustment. A pic rail with too much cant built in and you'll struggle to get zeroed. Apologies if this is basic stuff for you.
