Did you know that married men live longer than single men and therefore spend longer on our planet polluting it? I wonder if this is considered as the vast majority of men still marry women

    It's all the womens fault

The Guardian turned to nonsense ever since Viner took over. Publishing that type of nonsense poisons people against valid studies into sex (not gender) inequalities, climate change and meat consumption.

I mean why not just emphasise the real point, that fast cars, more car usage and high meat consumption has a greater emissions profile than lower speed driving, public transport/walking/cycling, and a low meat diet. It would be not only more accurate and informing, but wouldn't demonise a whole group of people just because of their sex (sex, not gender).

“Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

The Guardian is two newspapers in one. One has good old proper investigative journalism the other not so much.

AFAIK the Carbon Footprint was invented by BP to make people feel guilty as a distraction from what they were doing.

Methane and CO2 emissions associated with fossil fuel extraction won't be offset by small differences in individuals.
