    The colour picture is a Comet 4, G-EVCC, ex-BOAC and Mexicana, now restored and on display at Boeing Field.

    Longer fuselage and larger air intakes for the Avon engines. Thicker fuselage skin too for obvious reasons.

    The b/w photo has Comet 1 Yoke Peter, G-ALYP in the foreground which was tragically lost on 10 January 1954.

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,
