Hiya, I ordered a few items from Druids over 3 weeks ago. I only just received a tracking number, but the shipment still hasn't arrived in Ireland. Their contact methods on their website are hopeless, and it's nigh-on impossible to figure out how to actually get a message to them. Anyone else experiencing this with ordering from them recently?

Their delivery times seem to be fairly slow alright, I ordered a hoodie and hat recently and they took ages. The hoodie is really good quality for the price though to be fair.

My last order was around 2-3 months ago and I didn't have any issues

I'd say they got very busy around the Masters week with people ordering for season ahead

I ordered Friday of Masters week, they quoted their normal 3-5 day shipping but coming up on 3 weeks now and no timelines on potential delivery date.

They getting lambasted on Trust Pilot in the last few weeks, they telling customers they having issues with a new order processing system and to expect delays.

They've always been pretty bad for fulfilling orders when they have a sale on. Their customer service is also outsourced and there is only a chat function with no email or phone number to call.

I had a nightmare with them previously and it's put me off ordering again. I ordered a few bits in the sale (polo's, quarter zip) and it took 7 weeks to arrive. When they did, they were the wrong sizes.

    Their stuff is honestly trash.

Ordered a t-shirt and trousers off them last year and was pretty disappointed. Yea they are cheap but unfortunately in this case you get what you pay for.

Took like a week to arrive which is awful in an era where most online retailers will do 1-2 days, the t-shirt sizing is all over the place with it being too short length wise for me but then too baggy at the same time. The trousers are so thin they are almost translucent.

ordered a few bits around Christmas and one of them got stuck in Heathrow for two weeks according to the tracking anyway but the rest was 3-5 days ish

Just to add to my earlier comment, if you need to return something which is likely as the sizes are very off, you have to pay for it. That, or they will arrange collection for 10 euro.

By comparison, ASOS returns are completely free.

Another thing worth mentioning is that you have to sign up for access to sales. I handed over my contact info and was bombarded with texts from them as well as emails with no option to op-out.

It's a very shoddy way for a company that is online-only to do business.

This is the first poor experience I had from them.

I got one of their wet gear sets last year and it's perfectly fine and half the price of some of the other brands. Have had a couple other polo shirts and they were grand.

Something has obviously gone very badly wrong with their processing and shipping system.

I'm not sure I'd get wet gear off them - but its hard to go wrong with polo's, gilet's and the likes. I've a few of their bits, and they're perfectly fine.

Their customer interface was great when I dealt with them before - looks like they're ruining their business whatever they're up to now - I certainly won't be going near them again on the basis of this order experience

Whatever about the quality of their gear, their bombardment of you with texts and emails is scandalous. One of the reasons I stopped using them. That along with their sizing issues

Yeah, as soon as I receive my order, they're going straight to my email block list, ridiculous amount of emails. Ye all have me paranoid now that the clothes won't fit me when they arrive 😲

Mine arrived last week exactly 5 days after I ordered it.

exact same for me, the bombardment with marketing texts and emails turned me off them. I can’t comment on the quality but know a few people who have their stuff and were happy with it.

I find their stuff good. sizes can be off slightly mainly trousers. Like I'd be M in t-shirts L in tops 32/32 in trousers. Where normally I'm a M. And 34/32.. but if u buy a few items you quickly suss their sizes out.. Deliveries can get slow but just don't buy in a hurry but I find quality & prices great to be honest. Sure a t-shirt in shops now are €50+

I left them a poor review on Trust Pilot and they've reached out now to see if they can help speed-up my order delivery, going on a month now since I ordered something and still no timeline on delivery

Bought a pair of joggers from them. They got two wears and one wash before they came apart at the seams. You get what you pay for I guess. I won't be revisiting.

Where are the deliveries being delayed. Order over 2 weeks and seems to be stuck in santry for most of that so was dispatched quickly enough. UPS issue or Druids issue?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,067 ✭✭✭coillcam

I'd expect the problem lies with the delivery company in cases like this. Best to call them to discuss. Might be nothing to do with druids. I wouldn't be surprised if druids changed to a new fulfillment company or delivery agent.

Who are the delivery company? I had a delivery from Druids that went through Fastway and it was horrendous. They are probably the worst delivery company in Ireland. Friend of mine had a parcel literally thrown over a five barred gate into a field near his house. People who owned the field found it and dropped it into him.

UPS as I mentioned. I'll call them tomorrow. Able to track it no problem it's just held there.

I have two pairs of their joggers going on two yrs now, still 100%.

Sizing can be an issue alright, though for the most part I find them ok.

Constant bombardment of emails is a right pain.

Agreed, but they have some excellent deals when you bother to open them

  • Registered Users Posts: 500 ✭✭✭septicsac

They are a tad cheeky as well, several items in my basket, email inquiries quickly dismissed re sizing and several items have gone up in price for their "Ryder Cup Sale"
