Is there even such thing as a reliable Euro 6 van these days? They all seem to share parts and come with their own issues

My mechanic says he won't recommend anything new these days as they are all dirt and lads will be bitching about him in a year or 2!

The best van is a VW Transporter T6 2.0L Diesel of course, Highline spec if you can find one. You may have to import from UK as a good one is as rare as hen's teeth here.

Stay away from the renault/Nissan vans of that era.....have masters/traffics/nv300/nv400 in work and they are the bane of my life. Main problems with them are DPFs one by one they have caused us problems, I'm talking about 15 out of our 20 vans have caused more problems than I'd expect. So it's not just being unlucky.

I think Mercedes Sprinters are supposed to be okay as well. The 2.1 engine is solid anyway.

The soot levels on the master especially will go sky high if they aren't driven properly, it was always the couriers vans that came in with dpf trouble. If we kept the van for a day drove it properly and let it regen itself then most of the time the van would be fine

We have transits in the job, recently traded in a load of 2022 for 2025 as they are so reliable. Doing about 100k Kms a year in each one and very little issues at all. Never break down. They are serviced on schedule always

Yes, that's the van, but the mileage is fairly high at over 100 thousand miles. Just for comparison I had a quick look at at similar van in UK - white, 2018, mileage 39,700 miles, price £18,900 sterling + import duties, transport etc. Obviously it would be more expensive that the one you linked (which is €19,500) but with the much lower miles it would should be a better buy.

It's almost impossible to find a low mileage VW van here in good condition. Just like here, VW vans and VW cars in general are in the premium price bracket in UK For example a 2018 Ford Transit Van (Eco blue engine) with 32,000 miles price is £12,000 sterling - but they are bad news with serious issues with wet timing belts etc. Whoever came up with the hair brain idea of a wet timing belt should be shot on sight😊

I have 2 transit connect on order to replace the Renaults, hopefully they're good!

We have 3 lwb and 5 swb. Plenty of decent standard spec in them now with the likes of wireless airplay and cruise control

Anyone have any experience with current iveco vans, the older ones were good, and there all rated to tow 3.5 tonnes
