Wind Weather Watch - am I delusional??

Is it just me or is the wind much stronger now ALL THE TIME!!?? We're right bang in the middle of the island but every nice day, especially with lots of sun shine, pretends to be 15 degrees, but feels like 4 degrees with the wind chill or am I delusional?

I've looked at some Met Eireann reports about weather in general and wind for 2024 and so far in 2025, and while they do talk about more strong winds in the form of storms crossing the country, they don't talk about that general, what seems like all day eveyday, wind that appears. Obviously this time of year you'd expect cold winds, but my memory of every "nice " day last summer was cool 18 to high 20km's persistant winds, that just made it unenjoyable.

Another off shot of climate change maybe?? Or my own delusions?
