Over the winter and last year the flower beds are full of weeds in the back gardwn ,Just wondering how much would it cost to get someone to come into the garden and clean them up , ? Any approx idea ?

Almost anyone you employ will scrape off the weeds so you can't see them, convince you to cover it all up with wood chip (which they will do for you), and the weeds will grow back anyway. You could be charged anything and paying more will not ensure that the person weeding knows the difference between a weed and a desirable plant. Minimum would be about 10 to 15 an hour, for, say, a student from one of the horticultural colleges, to several hundred a day from someone calling themselves a landscape gardener.
