Do I have to pay 18 years now or will 13 years do

    My wife and I have our statements she has 10 qualifying years and I have 8 qualifying years Do we both need to pay the 18 years now which statement says without penalties or just pay 13 years now and pay the rest over the coming years we are both 59 years old ? We qualify for class 2

    You probably meant to put this into the UK pension thread. Even after the current year you will still be able to pay 6 years back, so you can just pay the 13 years.
