Just wondering is there a way of joining the plain ends of two ratchet straps together other than just tying them in a knot which might be hard to undo?

    Thanks

Is it to make a longer strap?

I'd be very wary of doing this as it would compromise the strength of the strap.

Yes Allinall, just to make two shorter straps a bit longer.

And only for tying stuff down at home - not for anything where safety would be an issue.

Feed the two ends into one ratchet and tighten up

Yeah, I have a spare ratchet so might try that.
