Animal Charity Raffle - Wii Mini Maxi Edition

Hi all, so anyone who read my Wii Mini Maxi thread, will know I ended up with two of these Wii Mini's, both identically restored, deep cleaned, fully modified (Webhdx's Wifi Restoration Kit, Reset Button Kit, and Devnol's Component Video Board), and both kinda not very common Wii Mini's! Personally, I think they're far better looking version of the Wii than the normal one, and the black & red harken back to the Famicom & Famicom Disk System colour scheme….very Nintendo looking. I decided, obviously not needing two of them, that I'd pass one on, and keep one for myself. Rather than just selling one though, I decided I'd try and raise a few euro for a non-Government sponsored Animal Charity (thanks to @CiDeRmAn for giving this the nod, one of your final acts of Cmodship!). I've a charity in mind, but if the winner has another one that isn't government sponsored, we can discuss etc. All funds raised will go to the animal charity, with proof/receipt of fund transfer etc all provided and available (kinda similar to the Game Chasers NES Auction we held here many moons back.)
What the winner will get:
- x1 Fully Modified Wii Mini (WiFi Circuits added, Reset Button added, and Component Video added. It's also been deep cleaned, with new thermal pads fit to the CPU & GPU. Full log here)
- x1 Nintendo Power Supply (Official PSU, with new Irish style Plug fit)
- x1 Sensor Bar (3rd party, brand new)
- x1 Wiimote with integrated Motion Plus & Nunchuk (3rd Party, brand new)
- x1 Component Cable (3rd party, brand new)
- x1 RGB Scart Cable (3rd party, brand new)
- x1 Gamecube Controller (3rd party, brand new)
- x1 USB Gamecube Controller Adapter (3rd party, brand new)
- x1 Wii Classic Controller (3rd party, brand new)
- x1 16GB MicroSD card that'll contain all the necessary software, ready to go (and an included NAND Dump for any disaster recovery)
^^ There is some kind of scuff along the lid and power button, but is otherwise in excellent condition.
^^ Fan and ventilation grills have all been cleaned etc.
^^ 16GB MicroSD Card installed, and Reset Button added in.
^^ Nintendo Power Supply
^^ All the necessary goodies are installed and working away perfectly.
^^ Homebrew Channel available if needed, but the Game Launchers are both available on the main screen anyway.
^^ This Wii Mini now has crisp 480p Component Video available, thanks to the Devnol Component Video Circuit being installed.
^^ WiFi restored, a feature that Nintendo had removed from the Wii Mini!
^^ Wii games work perfectly, without discs, imagine!
^^ GameCube games also work, and thanks to the USB GameCube Controller Adapter, they play perfectly too!
^^ WiiWare games work!
^^ Virtual Console games work too, thanks to the Classic Controller!
^^ Some pics of the mods involved, these are NOT easy mods to install, and involve what I'd consider a good level of micro-soldering needing magnification to achieve. All of the information regarding them is contained in the link to the entire thread.
Ok, so, in terms of rules for this:
- €30 per entry, multiple entries allowed if desired.
- The winner will be chosen at random through Wheel of Names.
- @CiDeRmAn has kindly agreed to handle the name picking end of things, to ensure transparency etc.
- The winner can collect the bundle from me in Dublin 18, or I can arrange postage (obviously at the winner's expense.)
- Entry fees will be collected by either Revolut or PayPal, I don't want to be handling cash if possible.
- I'll ask anyone who wants to enter here to comment on the thread saying they wish to enter, and I'll PM to handle the fee. I'll then thank the post to indicate the user is paid up and entered.
- If there's less than 10 entries, the raffle likely won't go ahead. Therefore, I won't start collecting entry fee's until there's 10 entrants or more.
- I myself won't be entering for obvious reasons!
- Any other rules that come to mind to ensure fairness etc.
Closing date will be the 31st of March
So by all means, and for a good cause, enter the raffle and try bag yourself a Wii Mini that's very different to all other Wii Minis!
