Parking Friday after 6 in City

hi all,

going to a gig tonight and saw the Park and Ride closes at 8:30p.m.!

Don't want the hassle of hanging around for a bus that never comes afterwards. Parked illegally on Wednesday night for KNEECAP and thought I'd be clamped, but wasn't! Didn't realise all the work near Morrison's Island got rid of about 50 spots.

Aiming to arrive between 6:30 and 7:00, and wondering where the day-trippers might be leaving free? Also, is it free after 6, or later?

Yeah it's free after 6,30 , but I don't think the traffic wardens usually work that late , 😕,

I suppose it depends which side of the city you're coming in from , I usually get somewhere on the eastern side of Patrick's quay / Penrose quay . Or down by popes quay .

Failing that down Copley street - heading towards the pedestrian bridge to Morrisons island

Thanks both. Gig in Cyprus Avenue, but my legs are good so I can park anywhere really. Coming in from Carrigaline.

Isn't Carrigaline served by a 24 hour bus?

There is a timetable, which gets very fluid and unreliable later in the evenings. I've stood on South Mall for 40 minutes before getting a taxi in the past.
