I thought it was as grand. None of the actions hit like winter soldier, I think the elevator scene and the one on turbot with French glad stood out but none here.

Mackie was perfectly fine but I just don’t buy him as a lead.

My partner didn’t see any of the promotion for this and was totally surprised by the red hulk 😆

If they had or at least tried to keep it as a surprise, I think it would have been great.

Not the best, far from the worse and nice to get bs k to the somewhat grounded stuff (tiny black widow aside, I buy a red hulk but not her lifting a grown man and slamming them but I did like her in the movie).

That must be Nigel with the brie...

Decent enough but actually quite light on the action, more storytelling. Ford gives a good performance and the guy playing the older Captain America was great. Like others I found the four and a half foot woman knocking men around the place with ease a bit OTT, at first I thought she was a new superhero. A little bit too long maybe but it was great to see a powerful hulk in action again after Marvel having made an absolute joke of the green Hulk.

Found this to be extremely poor, firstly it's very similar to the Falcon and Winter Soldier TV show visual/narrative quality than the usual cinema quality. Some of that possibly down to the ton of reshoots they did.

Very hammy, poor dialogue, wafer-thin plot, weak characters and some very dodgy CGI. Harrison Ford was easily the best thing about the film, still has the charisma and chops for a role like this, just a shame it wasn't a decent movie.

The non-super serum Captain is laughably bad because it leads to a) blatant narrative inconsistencies and b) the inevitable need to make him a mish-mash of 10 different heroes rather than just Falcon in a Captain America Suit.

It just does not work for me at all, I still think Falcon was a terrible narrative choice and Anthony Mackie was a terrible actor choice.

I'd give it a 3/10 overall. It's bad. Harrison Ford is the only single positive thing I could say about the movie. It blows my mind that this is Brave New World 2.0 after reshoots compared to the initial cut of the movie….and they still ended up with this insipid product.

I've seen all of the Marvel movies and this is easily among the worst of them in my opinion, at least Eternals took some bigger and bolder swings and The Marvels was a lot more entertaining with better characters.
