Of course 😝, but on a serious note the chance maybe to see Aaron Rogers on Irish soil would be unreal if he actually signs. JJ McCarthy could be a revelation next year also, although he's coming from a run heavy offence at Michigan might need time to adjust

I'd say cheapest tickets will be €120 for upper Davin (Canal End)

And probably in the €500 range for middle of the Hogan and Cusack at the 50 yard line.

Interestingly the Green Bay @ Pittsburgh game is a Sunday night game in week 8.

Someone here suggested that it would indeed be an island game rather than one at 9:30am Eastern, 6:30am Pacific.

Presale seems to be for people who bought tickets to London games previously

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,219 ✭✭✭✭cena

    That sucks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,219 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

At the moment the NFL Dublin presale appears it will be just for 2024 NFL London season ticket holders who are based in Ireland, I can't imagine that there were massive numbers from here who owned season tickets

If the presale is expanded to individual 2024 NFL London game ticket purchasers who are based here then the presale would have higher numbers, I've not received any emails anyway

As far as I am aware NFL London season passes have been scrapped.

Just realised the Dublin match is on the same day as the Ryder Cup Sunday 😔

Yeah NFL London season tickets are now scrapped this year, instead this year NFL as a 'gesture' is giving the former London season ticket holders pre-sale for the Tottenham games and for Irish based also providing pre-sale access to this Dublin game

IIRC 2022 was the last year new NFL London season tickets could be purchased so that's why I would be thinking the Dublin presale numbers won't be massive

Based on the email sent this week, it looks like its going to be a free for all on ticketmaster. Bots will have a field day and genuine fans will lose out.

Have tickets gone on sale , or are sold out . Is it from CP ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,547 ✭✭✭✭Fr Tod Umptious

If you bothered to read a few posts back you would see that tickets go on sale on June 17th.

They will sell out very very fast.

    Ticketmaster

All CP are doing here is renting out the venue, it's a Pittsburgh Steelers/NFL initiative.

Tickets will be impossible to get.

I've never tried to buy tickets for an NFL game in the UK or Europe but I've heard stories of people joining the queue on Ticketmaster at number 900,000 and above.

Pity . Though I have an secret agent in CP . I'll reactivate my ticketmaster account

I'm sure a small number of tickets will go to GAA/Croke Park people so no harm in asking anyway.

Not saying Dublin will be easy but the #900,000 thing in the queue for London is a bit false if you take it to mean there are 900,000 potential purchasers ahead of you. I'll explain how.

4 of us looking to buy for a game in London. We all join the queue independently. We all use 3 or 4 different browsers, plus our phones. Only one of us will make a purchase, whoever is the first one in. So we count as ~20 slots in the queue, but in reality we are only 1 potential purchaser. This is repeated throughout the queue. If there is more than 1 game being sold at once then you can likely halve the queue number in your head, even more if you are looking for the less attractive game.

The London queue will also include uncommitted purchasers who will give up when the see the time of the queue. They want a ticket, are willing to buy a ticket if it is easily available but are not actually willing to spend time purchasing. Committed purchasers who are willing to sit there for a couple of hours have generally got a London game.

As I said, Dublin will be more difficult, but I'm cautiously hopeful.

Yes of course the queue is going to go down quickly as people get tickets as you described and as the uncommitted give up.

It's just that when you are in that queue and there are almost a million ahead of you, it must be a bit surreal.

I'll try myself for tickets, cheapest available, but won't be too pushed if I don't get them.

Has anyone actually got a ticket for the game . I can't even get through the ticketmaster site

are you deliberately not reading the replies telling you when they’ll be on sale?

Don't need to worry about him getting a ticket ahead of us lads seeing as he can't read

Anyone who is planning to purchase tickets for the Croke Park be warned that for the Tottenham games this year NFL have jacked on astonishing price increases while expanding the number of seat categories from 7 to 9. The same Tottenham CAT 6 ticket area I paid 88 pound is now 160 pound this year!

I think anyone budgeting €120-€150 for an average ticket for the Croke Park game will need to be adjusting ticket price expectations significantly upwards

US site, SportsJoe, predicting prices for Dublin -gotta love €125 for a restricted view!

    • Sideline Premium: €500 – €600
    • Lower Stand: €350 – €450
    • Upper Stand Premium: €250 – €350
    • Upper Stand Standard: €150 – €250
    • Restricted View: €75 – €125

Where would you get a restricted view in croke park? I've sat in most parts of the stadium and can't think where that would be

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,785 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Maybe the back corners of the upper stands behind the big screen

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,299 ✭✭✭theoneeyedman

Might be low down seats, along sidelines? Given that each sideline will have almost 100 people walking up and down them, the view might be of their posterior ratger than the game?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 VertBlue

I'm pretty sure the first x rows don't be used in stadiums that aren't built for american football. The wembley games from memory don't use the first rows. I think they are able to use all the rows in the new spurs stadium as the pitch can be retracted

But you could be right, it may be those first rows. And after a bit of investigation I can see some sections at the top of the canal end are marked as restricted view as they are behind the big screen at that end, and make it difficult (or impossible) to see the big screen beside the Hill. They should probably move that screen towards the Cusack stand

They have really hiked the Spurs prices up this year, its gone very expensive now.

The very last rows of the lower Hogan and Cusack are not great because of the overhang from the level above.

I sometimes have to slouch in the seat to be able to see all the way across the field.
