Can you talk us through the expulsion system in primary school please.

The sister is sorting this, with legal advice should it prove necessary. There is no need for the OP to be involved or be given a reading from a crystal ball as to how it will all pan out.

It's understandable that she told her boss she was leaving work early. But I'm not sure why she has to go back for a full chat today. It's not really any of the boss's business is it?

Or maybe the kid with special needs is being bullied? The school probably has a better idea than randoms online, or even random relatives.

    Kids nowadays are very soft.

Back in the day in our secondary school the initiation for first years was getting thrown into a big holly bush.

    Most kids survived 😂

They probably didn't feel the holly, what with having to walk 10 miles to school in their bare feet through the snow on a road made of broken glass that was uphill all the way there and all the way home. 😉

Primary teacher here. What happened to your nephew was certainly distressing. I do hope he will be ok.

I'm at a loss why someone's first port of call seems to be boards about a legal case for their nephew." Pulling the autistic card " and talk of a child "getting away with it" and legal action seems to indicate that you have already decided how you want things to play out. There's a procedure to be followed in any incident/complaint, I'd suggest your sister talk with the school about her son and ask about these procedures.

When I was in babies class, that's the first year of primary, not sure what it's called now. Someone pulled my seat away as I was sitting down. I fell back and whacked my head off and old cast iron radiator. No talk of solicitors back then. I really hate this new phenomenon of looking for money for every issue.
