    Hi everyone

Looking for advice. I am looking to replace my trusty Sony MDR-ZX770BN over ear headphones. While still working perfectly they are getting a bit tatty as I use them while gardening/cutting grass etc.

Would Like a fresher looking pair for when out and about.

Would Like to keep with 200-250 euro.noise cancelling would be great but not essential. I'm leaning towards Sony again but is there any other overear sets I should be looking at?

Listened to the Dyson sets.sound is impressive but out of price range plus I'd look like a cyberman!

    Thanks in advance

Headphones for being out and about, with noise cancelling, not too showy? The Sony WH-1000XM4 fits your requirements and budget and has strong audio quality I had this model. The current XM5 is slightly improved, but outside the budget. In this price bracket they are about the best option, the Bose QuietComfort are fine too, but I prefer the Sony.

Dyson is not at all worth the money and has middling reviews. Also, €7 or so will get you some new earpads if you just want to spruce up your old headphones.

YYou've Actually pretty much hit the nail on the head with the 2 pairs I'm currently looking at. What would make you go for the Sony over the Bose?

Would need more than earpads lol !

Bose may have marginally better NC, but there's very little in it. Sony better on music reproduction, sounds more dynamic, better features, better app.

    Thanks for that
