A friend of mine dug out a box of watches previously owned by their father.

They aren’t sure if they are real or junk.

I’m going to have a look later in the week to see if they are obvious fakes.

I’ll post some photos here to get some opinions if possible.
Got sent a few photos of one.

    Any thoughts on this?

Looks like it may be rare. Saw the hubcap on the back, wondered why, then saw the face. 😆

The back looks like it could be uncomfortable to wear.

based purely on the quality of the steel on the back I am gonna say junk is most likely for that one.

Check the serial number with Breitling or an AD

Looking at the dial in particular, I'd say fake.

The alignment of the printed surround to the date window is off, and the printing of the detail between the center pivot and the 6 o'clock is very poor.

As has been observed, the definition of the case back is also very poor.

I'd be very surprised if that is genuine.

However, any decent jeweller will take a lupe to it tell you in a minute.

I agree with all of that. But at the same time, the photo is terrible quality. A crisp photo would make the print look better, but errors would be more obvious

    Thanks all.

Going to have a look at the lucky dip tomorrow.

Going by initial photos it’s going to be the biggest load of junk imaginable or……………………………..

Also, would I be right in saying the only Rolex with writing on the back is a Sea Dweller?
