    hi all

    Looking for advice

I’m early 50’s and my kids gave me a voucher for a tailored shirt to be made to measure from Louis Copeland … cost them €250 !!!

prob is I’m a few kilos iver weight after Christmas. Looking for advice on whether I should hold off until I get to my ideal weight (will I ever) or just go in for the experience and get the shirt made

Also I dress more casual most days … Fred Perry with a pair of blue jeans / ted baker trouser and shoes or sneakers … rather than a formal wear

    So any advice guys ?
    thanks

Would you think of using the voucher for something else? Should be possible.

Only you know about the Christmas weight question, but as far as tailored shirts go; is there ever not a case for a good quality white shirt? If you're in any way social in a formal or semi formal setting, you'll be able to justify a good white shirt.

Not the most exciting, but probably what I'd see myself getting best use of.
