Corey Heim will race with in select Cup Series events for 23 X1 and will make starts in the Xfinity Series with Sam Hunt Racing. Heim will also remain a part of the Toyota Driver Development Program.

Good to see clean racing, no bumper cars between Bell, Busch ,Byron and Elliot.

Byrons comment that he wasn't going to.nudge Bell out of the way as Bell hadn't got to the front that way ,was telling.

A surprise to many , the appeals panel has found in favour of Joe Gibbs racing and all the penalties have been rescinded !

Austin Cindric however has received a 50 point reduction for right hooking Ty Dillon at COTA , a one race suspension was not applied on the basis of the incident happening at (low speed) COTA

Blaney looked to be the next 'B' winner after Byron,Bell and Berry ,but that is some engine blow up ,rarely see a Penske blow like that , Blaney 3rd DNF of the season.

Teammates Cindric and Logano colliding in the pitlane earlier, and Logano and Berry colliding in a separate pitlane incident ! (Berry is effectively in a 4th Penske Ford).

Talking about 4th cars ,what is going on with Elliot (Chevy) and Gibbs (Toyota) ??

Larson arguably should not have won on Friday, unlucky on Saturday ,dominant on Sunday on long runs.

Larson will attempt the 3 races again later in the season.

Cindric was lucky, going from 25th to first on the last pit stop.

Wasn't a great race , it was impossible to overtake , two chevrolets pushing two ford's to victory tells the story.

Logano and Preece have been disqualified since and will not be appealing.

Loganos expletive laden attack on teammate Cindric at the end of stage 2 won't help Loganos popularity , Logano has a habit of falling out with team mates.…

Hamlin has said hes not happy with the setup for these tracks - nascar seems to want more of them but with this racing it wont help

Looking forward to Nashville tonight, so long as Chastain doesn't win.

I think Briscoe has a great chance. From looking at practice it appears he has the best super long run car.

Byron a danger man as well. Obviously Hamlin and Blaney are two very serious contenders.

All the Toyota's look good and they really want this one because it's been Chevy and Ford that have won the first five runnings of this race.

Blaney finally wins after a lot of ones he should have won earlier . Hamlins car had issues which kept him 3rd and Hocevar bumped Stenhouse out on the way 2 second

Hamlin wins Michigan due to fuelsaving - he is the best at fuelsaving races , but will still likely complain about racing around at 3/4 throttle for a long time

Feel for Buescher, he had a lot of bad luck and still finished second. If he had another six laps he'd have got to Hamlin.
