Old kids bikes - what to do with them?

Hi, I have a number of used kids bikes that I have tried to pass on through donedeal but no takers... They are all working fine but are well used.

What do people do with old kids bikes? Can they be recycled or so they just go to landfill?

If you're around Dublin The Bike Hub in Dun Laoghaire takes kids bikes and passes them on to kids in DEIS schools

if you're on the northside, drop an email to the rediscovery centre in ballymun.

i'm not sure if paul mcquaid in river cycles is also taking them.

Freecycle? There's sections of it for nearly every town/region at this stage.

When I lived in Germany, decades ago, they had recycling centres that grouped stuff into corrals, one was a bike section and I got a grand bike that did me for the year I lived there. Maybe the likes of Ringsend bring centre might do something similar?

Thanks, I'm in Clare so anywhere in Clare/Limerick would work. I'm going to call the local recycling center to see if they take them
