Michael Clayton and Insomnia, off the top of my head.

"Behind the Candelabra" was excellent and criminally under shown due to the storyline.

"Side Effects" was a great thriller with a nice twist.

    "Contagion" pretty much predicted 2020-2022.

Ocean's 11, Traffic, Logan Lucky and they're all of the top of my head and only the ones he directed not produced. Soderbergh is a director that takes a shot at something unusual whether it's filming choices, casting choices or something else. Sometimes it's a hit and sometimes it's a miss but he's definitely interesting

I could name a dozen easily? Soderbergh is one of the most major American independent filmmakers of the last few decades. Some misses, but plenty of deservedly acclaimed modern classics too.

Ah Soderbergh's got plenty of decent movies, ranging from grand to brilliant… haven't seen everything he's made but the Oceans movies, Erin Brockovich, Kimi, Logan Lucky, Magic Mike, Contagion, The Informant!, Behind the Candelabra, Out of Sight, Sex Lies and Videotape are all at least decent watches and a few of them are brilliant. I even like his remake of Solaris - it got a bit shafted by being pitched as something much broader than it was. I love and prefer the original, but his version was still interesting - and a lot shorter! I even have a soft spot for his batshit crazy Schizopolis… the mirror scene in that still cracks me up.

I'd love a Soderbergh bond movie.

Anyone else think this looks………. cheap and, frankly, bad? Hopefully just a bad trailer.

Looks good. Can't go far wrong with Fassbender and Blanchett.

Time to put childish things aside.

For a second there, I thought they'd finally turned this Black Bag into a movie.

Saw this earlier this evening and I really enjoyed it. Zips along at a good clip, it's tight, well made, well acted with a good old fashioned "find the mole" plot. Can't ask for much more than that. A good bank Holiday weekend

Very enjoyable film, the runtime absolutely flew by for me, would definitely recommend.

I saw this morning very enjoyable watch, great cast and a fun story with a few twists and turns.

Would like to see it doing a bit better box office wise, so more films like it are made again.

That must be Nigel with the brie...

If you are into stylish spy thrillers, yes. Really cool soundtrack by David Holmes, that's a name I haven't heard in a while.

Ocean’s 11 has been a bit of a comfort watch film for me for years - there’s just something about Soderbergh’s style that perfectly suits a caper movie. This is obviously quite different tonally, but it hits a similar sweet spot in its own way. Great director, great actors, plot that pays off beautifully, David Holmes tunes, everyone having a lot of fun. Not sure if it’s as endlessly rewatchable as O11, but what is? After being disappointed by Presence, this is Soderbergh back on flying form. A lotta fun!

There was a piece of music

leading up and into the scene where he was surveilling his wife

which really reminded me of Lalo Shifrin's Dirty Harry soundtrack 👌
