    Hi.

I have an opportunity to join Waterford County Council as a clerical Officer. It's entry level so the wage point is 29k. I am currently in a job with a salary of 41k.

I am considering the opportunity for the benefits. How quickly do you think i could make up the wage gap again?

Anyone who works for the county council what benefits do you value? How soon can you use maternity leave?

I think it is hard enough get a promotion in county council the jobs just aint there unless you come top of the class in competition ,you could also transfer to other government civil service job if you got high marks
