Early next week - There were a lot of slots to choose from so I imagine they're still letting people know! I hope you hear back soon.

Hi, has anyone heard back, received an offer, or been informed about not being selected yet? I attended the assessment day on December 4, and it’s been almost two weeks now. Hoping to hear something soon!

Going on past years you will NOT hear back within the timeframe they give you.

I went to the interview on the 4th of December and I am still waiting for a response. I know people that after the online assessment tests did not get invited to the interview and they received an email this week (18th) so is a good sign they are already replying

let us know if you hear anything. I think for this year this is it, offices normally close for Xmas so I guess we will have to wait till next year

    Just wanted to comment

I was a successful applicant for 2024 recruitment . I received an unsolicited message looking for advice / info on interview tips etc which I found a bit strange but anyway ……

I spent a lot of time replying and no one bothered to acknowledge the replies I gave which is rude but I guess a lot of people are badly brought up so don’t know any better .

Cabin crew is all about teamwork and consideration etc so genuinely hope that all applicants get the results that they deserve because rudeness is just totally unacceptable in this type of industry

You sent me a private message a few weeks ago . I hope you found my reply helpful as you didn’t bother to acknowledge it . Didn’t expect major thanks but might be nice to acknowledge when people in the industry go to the trouble of replying to unsolicited messages !!

    yes it’s cheeky alright .

You reply with the best of intentions but I guess a lot of people are just rude.

It will definitely put me off replying in future

I don't blame you babes… you spent your own time to help these people from the goodness of your heart and didn't even get a thanks! It's a sad reflection on our society.

Yes , I was out last night with my c/crew friends and we were just talking about this . Most have had similar experiences both on social media and in person . People asking for tips re interview etc but who don’t even bother to say thanks .
Anyway hope the interview process weeds them out !
I worked in a medical role before this and sadly this seems to be a reflection of a generation younger than me who want the benefit of our expertise for nothing , not even a thanks 🤣🤣

Thankfully my adult kids in early 20’s both in professional jobs have been brought up with proper manners .

I agree babes - sometimes people forget there's someone on the other side of the screen. Just look at the language people use on customer service twitter/X/facebook accounts - being upset is fine but some people are effing and jeffing thinking it'll get them their tv faster from currys.

Lmao no need to be so petty over something so insignificant and trying to "expose" someone over bad manners on the internet, maybe the person just forgot and you could remind them via message if it bothers you so much instead of creating fake problems for yourself tbh. And then saying I hope they weed them out like chill, you and the person who didn´t say thank you have things to work on, be better.

I think the bigger issue is that it wasn't just one person asking for cabin crew advice and not thanking afterwards it was a lot xx

I work for EK and I receive messages every day for info about the company and the recruitment process. I always copy and paste my reply and sometimes I don’t get an answer. Is not a big deal, just move on with your life; if you feel so sad for them not relying back then your learned your lesson and don’t have to answer. For someone that has been for over 8 years in a massive company like EK where you’re just a another number, don’t take things personally, use your precious days off in other hobbies and move on ;)
