Seplos V2 BMS and V3 BMS compatibility

    Hi everyone,

Can you advise me if I can split the my Seplos batteries into 2 seperate banks? 3 Seplos V2 BMS Batteries and 3 Seplos V3 BMS Batteries connected to a single Victron inverter?

I currently have four Seplos Mason 280Ah 14KWh batteries in my system, all using the V2 BMS. I recently tried adding two additional Seplos Mason 280Ah 14KWh batteries equipped with the V3 BMS (and a balancer), but I encountered some issues.

I couldn’t get the V2 and V3-equipped batteries to work as a single combined battery, so I had to connect them separately. This setup is functioning but the Victron sysyem can only see 1 bank of batteries. My questions are as follows:

    1. Compatibility: Are these V2 and V3 BMS-equipped batteries compatible for use together in a single system?
    2. Master BMS: Would it be possible for the V3 BMS to function as the Master and effectively manage all six batteries?
    3. Split Battery Banks: Should I split the batteries into 2 banks? 3 Seplos V2 BMS Batteries and 3 Seplos V3 BMS Batteries connected to a single Victron inverter?

Any guidance you could provide on configuring these components or other considerations for achieving optimal performance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance.
