Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, it’s difficult to find anything using the search function, does anybody know if there is a big difference in efficiency / quality etc. between a German brand such as Bauer and a Chinese one suck as Jinko. It’s very hard to find anything reliable online, the sales rep. For the Bauer panels obviously says the Chinese ones are rubbish and the reps selling the Jinko panels say that they’re the very same. Any feedback / experience would Be appreciated.

They're close enough to each other to be all the same. They are not the expensive part of a system - it's the labour to install them.

I have 19 panels, 12x Qcells and 7x Longi and they're 5 years old now with zero issues etc. They all come with various warranties you'll probably never use - most likely thing to go wrong will be a sliotar or other ball breaking one!

Very likely the 'premium' brands are made in the same factory as the cheapo ones with branding added after.

There's no moving parts to break etc, so reliability is not likely to be an issue.

If you do need to replace one - the cheap ones are ~€150. Paying an extra €500 for a 'premium' brand to be installed to 'save' money later on possible failures etc, simply makes zero sense.
