Hey all, hope this is the right place for this.....

I have a fairly standard 8x4 builders trailer with removable mesh sides. It's only around 4 years old. It gets very little use, and light use at that around the house. It has a full steel body floor included, 3mm checker plate. It's in perfect working condition and is structurally perfect.

The only thing is that is looks absolutely terrible already, looks an absolute rust bucket, but it's obviously only surface rust.

I would love any suggestions on how to go about getting it done up. Should I hire a sandblaster and strip it and paint it my self, maybe summer project for myself. Or send it to someone to have it done, in hopefully a more hard wearing and more durable and rust proof paint.

HHas anyone any idea of the cost of having this done and if its even worth doing.

It's only a cosmetic thing really. It's such a great trailer and so easy to pull and move about by hand too, I just want to keep it looked after.

I'm in the north Dublin area, so if anyone knows who could price doing this work I would appreciate it.

    Many thanks all.
