Im assuming you are talking about the 450MT ?

    https://cfmoto-motorcycle.eu/ie/en/motorcycles/multi-function-touring/450mt

Look at U-lube videos and reviews, the aussies in particular who are mad for outback trekking for days on end, really give them a good going over on the roughest terrain you'd encounter for months without problems as have many others. They are incredible bikes. The 450MT are selling by the bucket loads all over. thousands and thousands. id buy one if i was looking at that genre.

The price point and spec of what you get is off the charts compared to its rivals. The honda CRF300 RL Rally is 7900 - why would you buy one of these at that price, its nowhere near the spec of the MT. Id not touch the austrian orange brand myself and the himal@yan is an acquired taste ? only thing that seems to come up but not for everyone is jerky throttle, but you can say this about most bikes, and the fact its not built to do 70/80mph for hours on end on a motorway, but you can do it. i intend to buy one at some stage.

7500 new in Overl@nders add on DD , 3 yr warranty etc, as spec'd up as any high end bike 3 / 4 times its price.

The chinese bikes have backlit switches / some - inbuilt cameras, cruise control, fully comprehensive TFT screens etc this MT even has KYB suspension.

Dont forget about the jap bikes and small capacity bmw & ktm's are being built in china / asia etc.

My only gripe with Chinese bikes as such is the residual value. But on a 450MT you cant go wrong for the money. But european sales are strong from what you read, and beyond they are even better across asia etc. Our bike market is insignificant by comparison.

the japs have been caught napping. bigtime.

there is a bigger 800MT for next year btw.

buzz the dealer get a spin on one. might do it myself soon.

I really like the style of the 450MT over the 800MT. As WW said, for value its brilliant. But their like hens teeth at the minute. I believe the allocation AMI got are sold already.

I have one coming in Feb or March (hopefully).

First bike I've ordered in a very, very long time without taking a test ride.
