I have a 171 Citreon C4 Grand Picasso (7 seater) with 180000km on it. The DPF filter needs replacing and will cost roughly €1600. The finance is fully paid off of this car so no monthly outgoing.

    Should I

    a) replace the DPF filter and hold onto the car until it is pretty much worthless

    b) trade it in now (without replacing DPF) and come up a couple of years into something similar

    Any advice appreciated

    c) Remap it for €400 and keep the car until it dies

ah I actually forgot about that option.

I already have the adblue mapped out of it.

If both the adblue and DPF were mapped out should it cause any difficulty?
